Funding of $2,100 from Mazon Canada helped to address short-term food insecurity for Indigenous families living on the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nations Reserve. This grant was used to purchase and distribute 21 food gift cards valued at $100 each. This made it possible for parents to make their own choices for healthy food options for their families.
