About Our Camps
Girls Inc. of York Region provide girls and families in and around York Region with a variety of options when it comes to Camps!
We offer the following Camps:
+ PA Day Camps
+ March Break Camp
+ Summer Camps
+ Leader In Training (LIT) Camp
Our Camps are developed with the same goal as our programs; we actively strive to enhance confidence and self-esteem, while giving campers the skills and tools they need in order to reach their full capacities. Each year, our camps provide children and youth a chance to participate in fun, safe, and supervised activities, in which they may not have had the opportunity to experience.
Our Staff are trained individuals, passionate in helping girls reach their full potential. We have specific training in the Community Service Field, along with High Five certification, and First Aid/CPR Level C. Girls Inc.’s programming focuses on the development of the whole girl, and includes activities that are specific to girls’ needs. We ensure the programs are fun and diverse, and include different forms of facilitation to keep the girls interested and engaged.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!
SUMMER CAMP 2020
Registration is OPEN for our 2020 Summer Camps!
This year is different from previous years and we appreciate your enthusiasm as we take this journey together!
Girls Inc. of York Region strives to provide girls with a safe space, and this year is no exception!
Our staff have worked hard on planning camps that are fun and interactive, despite the requirements of social distancing. These activities include: hands on STEAM experiments, DIY crafts, virtual guests, local trips, and much more!
Each week, our camp will take place in SIMCOE STREET MONTESSORI (443 Simcoe St. Newmarket ON). This building safely allows us to accommodate our campers and staff to social distance, and participate in an air conditioned space where they will be able to fully enjoy their activities, especially when they are unable to go outdoors.
We are happy to be able to offer this opportunity to our families and campers. We have implemented the best practices to ensure girls, staff, and families’ safety during this challenging time. Please review these guidelines below.
– Camp spots will be LIMITED.
– Campers receive a FREE t-shirt and/or hat (while quantities last)
– Spots will not be reserved until payment is received.

Please inquire directly with Girls Inc. of York Region if you do not qualify for Jumpstart.
