Summer Camp 2024
Girls Inc. of York Region offers a fun and unique, 6-week long, summer camp experience for ages 5-13. Each week follows a different theme with a variety of activities, crafts, games and more.
Weather permitting, each week features a thrilling field trip to the beach. However, during week 5, campers will embark on an exciting excursion to Wet ‘n’ Wild waterpark in Toronto.

Lights, Camera… ACTION!
We’re starting this year’s summer camp with a cinema theme week. Think, Disney Day, Superhero Day, Talent Shows and more.
Week 2
July 15, 2024 – July 19, 2024
Girls Inc. Spirit Week
Show your Girls Inc. Spirit during this fun-filled week. From Wacky Wednesday to Throwback Thursday, get into the spirit and have some fun.
Week 3
July 22, 2024 – July 26, 2024
STRONG, SMART, BOLD, S.T.E.M.
Calling all inspiring scientists and engineers… Join us for fun as we build, construct, create, fizz, and explode various S.T.E.M projects.
Week 4

Barbie World
Like Barbie says… YOU CAN BE ANYTHING! And this week is meant to be a reminder for campers, of just that. Explore the many careers of Barbie and even embrace your “weird” with a “Weird Barbie Wednesday” theme.
Week 5
August 6, 2024 – August 9, 2024
Make a Splash
Water balloon fights, Slip ‘N’ Slides and Water Slides. Let’s make a splash and make memories.
*This week’s field trip will be to Wet N’ Wild water park. There is no price adjustment for this week of camp.
Week 6
August 12, 2024 – August 16, 2024
Camp Olympia
Teamwork, empowerment, movement, and fun. That’s what Girls Inc. Camp Olympia is all about. Include a Campers vs. Staff Dodgeball Game… that’s like a 70 vs. 7… GAME ON.

L.I.T.
Girls Inc. of York Region’s L.I.T. Camp offers teens (ages 14-18) the opportunity to build leadership skills and confidence in a safe, inclusive, and pro-girl environment. Build relationships and connect with like-minded peers while having fun. Gain high school volunteer hours and experience as a camp counsellor.
Each session of L.I.T. Camp is two weeks long.
Week 1: Campers will focus on skills and relationship building, and having fun with research-based leadership programming.
Week 2: Put your skills into action and practice. This week teens will gain experience as an assistant to Girls Inc. Camp Counsellors, working with campers ages 5-13.
